The exhibition presents a wide range of 19th and 20th century urban and regional lace caps from the Netherlands. The regional lace caps include examples from West-Friesland, Rijnland, North Sea coastal forms, Volendam, Huizen, Leeuwarden, Groningen, Staphorst, Brabant, and Zeeland.
- Contents: The exhibition comes with over 70 examples of traditional Dutch lace caps, lace, pleating equipment, storage boxes, and so forth. In addition there are numerous photographs and a text explaining the different regional types, how they are made and how they are worn. The exhibition is accompanied by a booklet on the same theme (English/Dutch).
