Saturday 13 June: Book sale
The main move to the TRC’s new premises is nearly finished and we have just decided to hold a textile, clothing and accessories book sale! Hundreds of books will be on offer at very, very low prices. This is a great opportunity to browse through a wide range of second-hand books and magazines. The sale (weather permitting) will take place in the garden of Boerhaavelaan 6, and there will also be the chance to see the TRC exhibition about Egyptian appliqués (khayamiya). A PIN machine will be available, but cash is also welcome.

Saturday 12 – Sunday 13 September: Open Monumenten Dagen
Last year, Boerhaavelaan 6 (the new home of the TRC) was open to the public for the first time during the Open Monumenten Dagen ('Open Monuments Day'), Leiden. That weekend, nearly 1000 visitors came to see the house and to hear about what we are doing.
We will open again the general public for the Monumenten Dagen in 2026 – you are more than welcome to come and see what is now actually happening inside, enjoy the current exhibition, see the house and the garden, as well as talk with TRC staff and volunteers.
Saturday, 12 September: 12.00 – 17.00. Sunday 13 September: 10.00 – 17.00.
