The TRC in the national media

On Monday 18th January a long article was published in the Dutch national newspaper, Trouw, written by costume historian, Ms Els de Baan. The article is accompanied by three photographs of objects housed in the TRC. The photographs were taken by Mr. Joost Kolkman, who has been assisting the TRC for a long time with photographing the many objects of the TRC collection.

Eindelijk hebben de ruim 6000 kledingstukken en textiel van het wetenschappelijke Textile Research Centre (TRC) de ruimte. Initiatiefnemer Gillian Vogelsang-Eastwood streefde al vele jaren naar grotere huisvesting in Leiden voor haar studiecentrum. Haar verzameling is verhuisd en nu meer toegankelijk voor publiek. Ze vormen een letterlijk tastbare bron voor iedereen die serieus en gericht onderzoek wil doen naar oude en nieuwe textiel. Read more ....

Opening days and hours

The TRC is open from Monday -Thursday, 10.00-15.00.

Donations

The TRC is dependent on project support and individual donations. All of our work is being carried out by volunteers.
