It was worked by twenty 'tapissiers', who started in 1976 and finished the embroidery in March 2000. The finished embroidery is 8.5 by 0.6 m and is housed in Prysten House (dating to 1490). The Plymouth tapestry was worked on at the same time as the New World tapestry, also designed by Tom Mor.
