Three-Twist Brussels Net

Three-twist Brussels net is a diamond (rather than hexagonal) net invented in 1831 and produced with a modified bobbinet machine.

This type of net was used for Brussels needlepoint lace. The production of three-twist Brussels net ceased in c. 1970.
