On the occasion of the TRC exhibition on quilts (American Quilts), the TRC is organising an open day on Saturday 23 February when the exhibtion is open to the public and people can bring one specific quilt to discuss this item with the staff of the TRC and with the curators of the current quilt exhibition, Susan Cave and Beverley Bennett.

The TRC is open from 10.00 until 16.00. Entrance is free, but a voluntary donation will be appreciated. Throughout the day visitors may attend guided tours of the exhibition, and talk with the TRC staff about quilts and any other textiles or textile related matters that they may want to talk about. The TRC shop will also be open, and people may browse through the extensive TRC library.
