The family of the Antwerp artist, Cornelis de Vos (1584-1651) was painted by the artist in 1621. The painting is now in the Koninklijke Musea voor Schone Kunsten van België (Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium), in Brussels.

In the painting, Cornelis de Vos and his son are shown wearing relatively narrow, flat ruffs with Vandyke edged lace. His wife and daughter (seated to the left) are shown with deep, goffered ruffs. His wife, Susanna Cock, is wearing a long stomacher with U-ending that is decorated with embroidered flowers in yellow coloured thread. The flowers are powdered across the ground cloth. The little girl is wearing a beige skirt embroidered with an intricate arabesque design with a palmette edging (the palmettes are of various shapes) in a dark brown thread.
